செம்மணி உட்பட்ட பல மனித புதைகுழிகள் பற்றிய முழுமையானச் சர்வதேச நீதி விசாரணை நடைபெறவேண்டும்.

ஈழத் தமிழர்கள் மீது தொடர்ந்து வரும் இனவழிப்பின் அன்மைய சாட்சியாக ஜூலை 2025-இல் யாழ்ப்பாணம் செம்மணியில் அகழ்ந்தறியப்பட்ட மனிதப் புதைகுழிகளில் மீட்கப்பட்ட 65 ற்கும் மேற்பட்ட எலும்புத் தொகுதிகள் காணப்படுகின்றன.

செம்மணி மனிதப் புதைகுழியானது ஈழத் தமிழர்களின் மீது இலங்கை அரச பயங்கரவாதத்தினால் கட்டவிழ்த்து விடப்பட்ட மனிதப் பேரவவலத்தின் சிறு சாட்சியம் மட்டுமே. குறிப்பாக 1996 ஆம் ஆண்டில் சிறிலங்கா அரச படைகளால் கூட்டுப் பாலியல் வன்புணர்வுக்கு உள்ளாக்கப்பட்டு படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்ட பதினாறு வயதுகளே நிரம்பிய பாடசாலை மாணவியின் விவகாரம் ஊடாகவே இவ்விடயம் வெளிச்சத்திற்கு வந்தது.
இப் படுகொலைக்கு முன்னராக 1995 ம் ஆண்டு யாழ்ப்பாணம் இடப்பெயர்வுக் காலங்களிலும் அதன் பின்னரான காலப்பகுதிகளிலும் சிறுவர்கள், பெண்கள், முதியவர்கள் உள்ளடங்களாகப் பல நூற்றுக் கணக்கானவர்கள் மிகக் கொடூரமாகப் படுகொலை செய்து புதைக்கப்பட்டார்கள் என்பதனை நிரூபிக்கும் வகையில்
கிருசாந்தி படுகொலை வழக்கில் குற்றம் நிரூபிக்கப்பட்ட சிறிலங்கா அரச படைச் சிப்பாயின் பகிரங்க வாக்குமூலத்தின் அடிப்படையில் 1999 ஆம் ஆண்டு இணங்காட்டப்பட்டு பதினைந்து மனித என்புத் தொகுதிகள் மீட்கப்பட்டன.

எனினும், தொடர்ந்து ஆட்சிபீடம் ஏறிய சிறீலங்கா அரச இயந்திரக் கட்டமைப்புகள் அவற்றை முழுமையாக விசாரணை செய்யாமல் மூடி மறைத்து வந்தன. இந் நிலையில், அண்மையில் அப்பகுதியில் கட்டட வேலைக்காக அகழ்வு பணியில் ஈடுபட்டபோதே மனித என்புக்கூடுகள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டன. ஆயினும் இவ் விடயத்தை மூடிமறைக்கும் முயற்சிகளே அரச தரப்பால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.

தமிழ் மக்களினதும் சர்வதேச சமூகத்தினரதும் தொடர்ச்சியான அழுத்தம் மூலமே இதுவரை பல எலும்புக்கூடுகள் மீட்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதுபற்றிய கவனயீர்ப்பு நிகழ்வு அணையாவிளக்கு போராட்டமாக தாயகத்தில் மக்காளால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டிருந்தமை கவனிக்கத்தக்கது.

அதன் தொடர்ச்சியாகவே 21/07/2025 திங்கட்கிழமை அன்று சர்வதேச கவனயீர்ப்பு பேரணியாக அவுஸ்திரேலியாவில் இயங்கும் அனைத்து தமிழ் அமைப்புகளும் இணைந்து கான்பராவில் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் அலுவலகம் முன்பாக ஆரம்பமாகி நடைபெறவுள்ளது.

இப்பேரணியில் முன்வைக்கப்படும் கோரிக்கைகளாவன..

1. இதுவரை கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்ட செம்மணி உட்பட்ட பல மனித புதைகுழிகள் பற்றிய முழுமையானச் சர்வதேச நீதி விசாரணை நடைபெறவேண்டும்.
2. எதிர்வரும் செப்டெம்பர் மாதம் நடைபெறவுள்ள ஐநா மனிதவுரிமைகள் பேரவையில் சிறிலங்கா மீது வலுவான தீர்மானத்தைக் கொண்டுவர அவுஸ்திரேலியா உட்பட அனைத்து நாடுகளும் தெளிவான நிலைப்பாட்டை எடுக்கவேண்டும்
3. தமிழர்கள் மீது இனப்படுகொலைகள் புரிந்த படை அதிகாரிகள் மீதான பயணத்தடையை அமெரிக்கா, பிரித்தானியா, கனடா போல அனைத்து நாடுகளும் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தவேண்டும்.
4. தமிழர் இனவழிப்பில் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களையும் சாட்சியங்களையும் பாதுகாக்கும் வகையில் ஏதிலிகளுக்கான பாதுகாப்பை அனைத்து நாடுகளும் பொறுப்புணர்வுடன் வழங்கவேண்டும்.
5. சிறிலங்கா அரசு கையகப்படுத்தியுள்ள தமிழர்களின் பாரம்பரிய வாழ்விடங்களை விடுவிப்பதுடன் தமிழர் தாயகத்தைப் பல்வேறு வகையில் கையகப்படுத்தும் நடவடிக்கைகளை நிறுத்த சர்வதேச நாடுகள் அழுத்தம் கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.
6. பயங்கரவாதத் தடைச் சட்டம் என்ற பெயரில் இன்றும் தொடர்ந்து வரும் தமிழன அடக்குமுறைகளை நிறுத்துவதற்கும் நீண்டகாலமாகச் சிறைகளில் வாடும் தமிழ் அரசியல் கைதிகளை உடனடியாக விடுதலை செய்வதற்கும் சர்வதேச நாடுகள் அழுத்தம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.
7. தமிழர்கள் மீது கடந்த 76 ஆண்டுகளாகத் தொடர்ந்து வரும் இனவழிப்புச் செயற்பாட்டை நிறுத்தி ஓர் சர்வதேச நீதிப்பொறிமுறை ஊடாகத் தமிழர்களின் வாழ்வுரிமையை உறுதிசெய்ய அனைத்து நாடுகளும் ஆதரவளிக்க வேண்டும்.

இப்பேரணியானது மதியம் 12 மணிக்கு ஆரம்பித்து சிறிலங்கா தூதுவரகத்துக்கு முன்பாக ஆரம்பித்து, பன்னாட்டு தூதுவரகங்கள் மற்றும் ஐநா தூதுவரகம் வழியாக சென்று ஆஸ்திரேலிய வெளி விவகார துறை அமைச்சு அலுவலகத்தில் முக்கிய கோரிக்கைகள் அடங்கிய மனு கையளிக்கப்பட்டு நிறைவடையும்.

இப்பேரணியின் நோக்கம் வெற்றிபெற அனைத்து ஊடகங்கள், அமைப்புகள் உட்பட அனைவரின் ஆதரவையும் ஒத்துழைப்பையும் அன்புரிமையோடு எதிர்பார்க்கின்றோம்.

Discovery of mass graves in Sri Lanka & ongoing Tamil Genocide

Over 65 human skeletal remains were recently unearthed from a mass grave in Chemmani, Jaffna (Sri Lanka) – during a construction work in July 2025. This disturbing discovery marks yet another chapter in the long, painful history of atrocities and genocide committed against Tamils in Sri Lanka.

The Chemmani mass grave offers chilling evidence of a state-sanctioned campaign of terror. The truth of its existence first emerged following the brutal 1996 gang rape and murder of a 16-year-old Tamil schoolgirl, Ms Krishanthy by Sri Lankan soldiers – an incident that tragically illuminated the scale of systemic violence during the 1995 civilian displacement and the years that followed. In 1999, based on public testimony from a convicted soldier in the Krishanthy murder case, authorities recovered 15 skeletal remains linked to these crimes.

Despite these horror findings, successive Sri Lankan authorities have failed to initiate comprehensive investigations, choosing instead to obscure accountability. The recent discovery of more than 75 skeletons uncovered unexpectedly during construction excavation – has once again revealed the extent of the unresolved disappearances and oppression faced by Tamils.

Community mobilisation for International Justice – Tamil organisations across Australia will unite and will hold an International Justice Awareness Rally on Monday, 21 July 2025 outside the United Nations Office in Canberra, advocating immediate international action.

The march will begin at 12:00 PM outside the Sri Lankan High Commission, progressing through number of embassies, United Nations Office and concluding at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where formal submissions outlining key demands will be presented.

Rally demands to support the :

1. Launch of a comprehensive international investigation into Chemmani and other mass grave sites in Sri Lanka
2. Adoption of a strong new resolution against Sri Lanka during the upcoming UN Human Rights Council session in September 2025
3. Imposition of travel bans on military officers implicated in genocide, mirroring measures already taken by countries such as the U.S, U.K, and Canada
4. Provision of protection and asylum for genocide survivors and key witnesses
5. Exertion of pressure to release Sri Lankan military occupied Tamil lands
6. Pressure for immediate release of long-detained Tamil political prisoners and repeal oppressive legislations
7. International recognition of the Tamil genocide and a credible accountability pathway
